  • Procedure of an underwater photo shooting

1. preliminary talk

  • Presentation of the desired picture

  • Presentation of the finished pictures (only the best ones are forwarded)

  • Breathing underwater

  • For underwater model shoots in the pool, the model only goes under water for 15 to 35 seconds, which means no diving licence is required.

  • The maximum depth is only +/- 1 meter.

  • If you are in possession of a diving licence, it makes shooting at lakes or seas a possibility.

  • Requirements

  • You have to be able to swim, which means being able to stay on the surface  and underwater for a few seconds or minutes.

  • The model must be in a good general health. 

  • Clothing

  • It will be determined in the preliminary discussion which wardrobe is the most suitable for your desired picture

  • Possibilities : dress, swimwear, t-shirt, shorts, suit, ...

  • Security

  • The edge of the pool or a swimming aid is within reach at all times

  • A safety diver is within reach if necessary

  • The safety diver and the photograph are both in posession of first aid certification

  • Location

  • Pool, Lake or Sea

  • Needed for the shooting

  • Clothing for the shooting (will be discussed in the preliminary talk depending on the type of shooting)

  • bath towel. 

  • Waterproof make-up utensils (tips will be discussed free of charge in the preliminary talk)

  • Image rights

  • A private use of every picture is certainly permitted and encouraged. 

  • A commercial use or a gratuitous transfer of the pictures to third parties is not allowed and will be fined

  • Removal of the logo for social media (Instagram, Facebook, ... ) is not allowed and will be fined

  • Why are only a few pictures included in the price

  • Due to the complexity of an underwater shooting we can only guarantee the editing and releasing of two pictures. 

  • If a third one stands out, it will be provided for free.

  • Every further picture will be charged an additonal 25 euros.
